Vineyard Maternity Photos at Chateau O'Brien and Blue Valley Vineyard

Kimmie and Nate are so thrilled that they're going to be parents! And I had such a great time capturing this exciting time for them :) We lucked out with a gorgeous, summer-like October day to explore a couple Fauquier County vineyards. Originally we'd planned to meet at a local park, but I'm so glad Kimmie suggested we check out these vineyards instead. I'd never been to either one before, but I will definitely be going back!

We started off at Chateau O'Brien in Markham. I just loved the backdrop of the vines and the view overlooking the mountains. Though we weren't at the peak of fall color, we still got some of those golden oranges and yellows!

And the view here is just so beautiful!

After we finished up at Chateau O'Brien, we drove down the road a bit to the nearby Blue Valley Vineyard in Delaplane. Blue Valley had equally stunning views, and the golden hour light was just perfect! We watched the sunset over the Blue Ridge Mountains and got some absolutely gorgeous shots.
