Best of 2016 Weddings | Getting Ready

I can't believe how quickly 2016 flew by! I'm going to take the next few weeks to blog some of my favorite photos from this past wedding season. Today's post is all about the getting ready shots.

While these photos aren't as iconic as walking down the aisle or the posed portraits, they're such a fun part of the day to look back on! There's so much energy and excitement in everyone's faces, and always tons of laughter! Sometimes there's a little chaos too, but you just gotta take it all in stride :)  I love capturing the candid shots of the wedding party hanging out, as well as the little details like buttoning up the dress. It's great that I always have a second photographer included now too, so that we can get these photos of everybody - even if they're at different locations!
