Jefferson Memorial and Rock Creek Park Engagement | Washington, DC | Alejandra and Jeremy (and Rozsda)
I’m so excited to share Alejandra and Jeremy’s DC engagement session today! I have done a lot of sunrise engagement shoots, but this has to be one of the prettiest skies I’ve ever gotten! Definitely worth waking up early for.
Jeremy and Alejandra met while in grad school at GWU, so although they’re planning to get married in Colombia, they wanted to do their engagement photos here in the city where they fell in love! So of course we had to get some iconic photos with the monuments! We decided to start their session at the Jefferson Memorial and Tidal Basin, and we basically had the place to ourselves - another benefit to waking up early haha.
Vizlas are known for being velcro dogs, and Rozsda totally lives up to that! She did not want to leave Alejandra and Jeremy’s side. There’s so many cute photos of her peeking out from around their legs!
Oh hey there Rozsda :)
One of Alejandra and Jeremy’s favorite things to do is go hiking with their dog, and one of their favorite places to do that is Rock Creek Park. And it’s actually the place where Jeremy proposed! I love it when couples want to return to the place of their proposal for their engagement pictures!
I love all this orange!
