Arbor at the Port Wedding | Rochester, NY | Marianne and Aaron
Marianne and Aaron are married! They had the most perfect Rochester day for their wedding at Arbor at the Port and possibly the greatest timeline ever. We had TONS of time for photos before and after the ceremony of the two of them with their wedding party, and made it to so many awesome spots!
They had their first look at St. Joseph’s Park, pictures along the Genesee River, a ride on the carousel at Ontario Beach Park, and a sunset over the lake! Some weddings would only have time for one of those locations, but Marianne and Aaron planned their day with pictures in mind, so we got to visit all their favorite spots.
Loving these mismatched bridesmaid robes!
This hidden gem in downtown Rochester is the perfect spot for a first look! St. Joseph’s Park was a church built in the 1800s that was destroyed in a fire. The walls were left standing, so it is now a gorgeous park!
Can we just talk about how gorgeous Marianne is?!
This bridal party was such a fun group!
After St. Joseph’s Park, we headed down the road to get some photos along the river at the Genesee Riverway Trail with Rochester’s skyline behind us. We actually went to the same spot where we did Aaron and Marianne’s engagement photos in the winter! The weather was just a little bit different in August than it was in January haha.
These sunglasses came out a lot throughout the day. Super helpful when we were in direct sunlight, and dance floor essentials later on in the night!
The groomsmen wanted Aaron to lead them in a West Side Story walk - I think they pulled it off haha.
The ceremony space at Arbor at the Port is just gorgeous!
I think more weddings should have post-ceremony carousel rides. The Ontario Beach Park carousel operators were awesome and gave the wedding party their own private ride!
The toasts were amazing, a perfect mix of funny and sweet!
After dinner, Marianne and Aaron snuck away for few more photos. We walked along the river and ended up on the beach to watch the sunset. Seriously makes me miss living by Lake Ontario!
And then Aaron and Marianne were off to dance the night away. My favorite was when the DJ played “Sunglasses at Night,” because obviously this wedding party came prepared!
Overall a beautiful day with such a fun couple!
