Wolftrap Farm Wedding | Gordonsville, VA | Teresa and Nick (and all the puppies)
Teresa and Nick got married at Wolftrap Farm in Gordonsville and Oh. My. Gosh. This day was absolutely perfect! The weather could not have been better, and there was so much fun and joy packed into every single moment throughout the day. I don’t know if I’ve been to a wedding with so much laughter! Teresa had a HUGE surprise for Nick during their First Look, and there were also rescue puppies in attendance! Get ready for one of my longest blog posts ever….
In addition to her First Look with Nick, Teresa did a big reveal with her bridesmaids as well, and their reactions were adorable.
Nick and Teresa decided to exchange gifts before they saw each other!
Get ready for photo overload with quite possibly the GREATEST first look I have ever photographed. Teresa knew from the very first day that I talked with her that she wanted to do something funny to surprise Nick. She originally thought about putting the horse head on herself but decided not to mess up her hair haha! So instead, best man Bernie stepped up to take on this important job!
The laughter quickly changed to tears because Nick was just so emotional! He was so excited to finally see Teresa.
Another surprise that Teresa planned was this vintage truck from Camelot Classic Cars. Nick ended up finding out about it before the wedding day, but still was such a fun addition to their photos!
And here come the rescue puppies! Teresa and Nick are big dog lovers - they’ve got rescue pups of their own and also foster. Since their own dogs couldn’t be at the wedding, they opted to have adoptable puppies join in on the fun and possibly find their forever homes with wedding guests! Big thanks to A Forever Home Rescue Foundation (where I got Rui from!) for bringing the cuteness.
I am in love with these bridesmaid outfits! They are so perfect for a rustic wedding day.
Ahhhh these puppy faces are the cutest!
Nick was smart and took his hat off before being tackled so it didn’t get crushed. One groomsman was not so lucky!
Something else fun that Nick and Teresa decided to do was have their cocktail hour BEFORE their ceremony! And a cocktail hour with puppies is obviously the best kind there is.
Occasionally, flower girls need a little extra help from mom to get down the aisle!
Sometimes people wonder if doing a First Look will make the walk down the aisle less emotional. Definitely not the case!
This ceremony view just can’t be beat. I’m so glad they had a beautiful sunny day!
These sweet little faces yapped and cried through the entire ceremony haha!
Another little touch that I loved was the “Love is patient” signs along the entire aisle.
What a way to start a first dance!
The reception was a blast - from the toasts to the bouquet toss to the line dancing, everyone was having such a great time!
