Family Photos at Chatham Manor | Fredericksburg, VA | Neehar, Ratna, and Neer (and Cocoa)

With so many sessions and micro-weddings lately, I’ve gotten behind on my blogging! I’m finally back at it and figured I’d start with these adorable family photos at Chatham Manor in Fredericksburg.

Neehar and I used to work together, and it was so great to meet up with him again after all these years! I got to meet his wife Ratna, son Neer, and their pup Cocoa. Ratna was pregnant with their second (who has now arrived!), so they wanted to document this special time with maternity/family photos.

Neer was absolutely adorable, and one of the most polite kids I’ve ever met. When we finished photos he thanked me (completely unprompted by mom and dad) - “Thank you so much for taking our pictures and thank you for loving me.” Melted my heart! I know he’s going to be the best big brother.

Neer gets full credit for the creative direction on the posing of this one 😂
