Georgetown Dahlgren Chapel and Pinstripes Wedding | Washington, DC | Emily and Matt

Emily and Matt had an amazing DC wedding day in Georgetown! These two met on campus when they were students at Georgetown University, so it made perfect sense for them to tie the knot at Georgetown’s Dahlgren Chapel. After the ceremony and pictures on campus, they made their way over to Pinstripes for a fun reception and an incredible dance floor.

The day started off with some getting ready photos at the Melrose Georgetown Hotel before heading over to Georgetown University.

Emily and Matt had their First Look in a quiet corner of Georgetown’s campus, in the same spot where they got engaged! We made sure to take a couple photos on the exact bench where Matt popped the question. We also grabbed a few photos later on by Poulton Hall, the theater building where they first met. I love that they were able to get their wedding pictures at such special locations in their relationship!

I loved all these different styles of bridesmaid dresses! And dusty blue is always one of my favorite wedding colors - it looked great paired with the pinks and corals in the bouquets.

They had a beautiful ceremony in Dahlgren Chapel.

After Emily and Matt said their vows, we had some more time to explore the Georgetown campus for photos! The front of the chapel was a beautiful spot, and we strolled the streets of Georgetown for a bit too.

They had a gorgeous setup at Pinstripes for their wedding reception. More of the dusty blue and colorful flowers were on every table!

After dinner we snuck outside for a few minutes to grab more couples portraits on the bridge over the canal. And of course got some pictures with Pinstripes in the background!

Next came the toasts! The laughter photos during speeches are always my favorite, and Emily and Matt’s families did not disappoint with their hilarious toasts.

And then there was cake and dancing the night away!
