Historic Rosemont Manor Wedding | Berryville, VA | Sarah and Matt
Sarah and Matt had the perfect fall wedding at Historic Rosemont Manor in Berryville. With a mid-November wedding you never know what the weather and fall leaf situation is going to be like, but everything aligned for their big day! It was a little chilly, but still warm enough to have their outdoor ceremony on the manor house lawn. (Sarah actually had a shawl and cardigan, but she tossed them aside for 90% of the photos… all that love/excitement/cuddling kept them warm!) And there were still leaves left on the trees to capture the beautiful fall colors.
Matt and Sarah had such a fun group of family and friends, and these two kept each other smiling all day long. From the portraits to the vows to the cake cutting - they did not stop laughing!
How perfectly coordinated are these robes with the room they were getting ready in? I’m guessing this was just coincidence haha, but it looked amazing.
Sarah walked down the beautiful Rosemont Manor staircase to meet Matt at the bottom for their first look.
I LOVE the giant manor house porch. The white columns give that DC monument vibe while being in the scenic Virginia countryside. And there’s tons of space for dancing and twirling!
Sarah’s fall bouquet from The Rosy Posy was stunning! And here’s the brief shawl appearance before Sarah said “nah, I’m good,” and spent the rest of her wedding day braving cold temperatures like a badass. Also, check out the sweet tie clip that Sarah bought for Matt (he’s from California.)
Just below their ceremony site was the most beautiful red tree. Matt and Sarah were hoping that the leaves would still be there on their wedding day, and their wish came true!
How gorgeous is this ceremony view?!
Their vows had everyone cracking up, but definitely had their sweet, make-you-tear-up moments too.
After the ceremony, Sarah, Matt, and all of their guests went inside the manor house for a special champagne and pizza toast! The champagne was from a winery where Matt is from in California, and the pizza was from a favorite pizza place in Massachusetts where Sarah is from. It was the best way to bring a piece of their hometowns to Virginia!
Sarah and Matt each have one brother and one sister, so their wedding party decisions were pretty easy!
Such a fun bridal party!
After finishing up the last of the formal pictures, we moved into the Carriage House for the reception. I love the lights in here, and loved that their guest tables were named after National Parks!
Look, their pup Biscuit made it onto the wedding cake! You can see more of her cuteness in their engagement photos, but she also makes another appearance at the reception too…
Biscuit’s Biscuit Bar! Such a creative way to include your dog in your wedding day when they can’t actually be there. Sarah and her mom made all these cookies (including some shaped like dog bones!) and they also had custom Biscuit stickers made for all the guests to take home. So cute! And yes, of course I took home my own Biscuit sticker.
Since these two love iced coffee, they made sure to include an iced coffee bar in their reception plans!
And then it was dancing time! All of the guests had so much fun,
When you try to get a nice photo of mom and dad, but the kids decide to photobomb.
Sarah and Matt ended their perfect Rosemont Manor wedding day surrounded by their friends and family, with a fun sparkler sendoff!
