Shenandoah Engagement Session | Luray, Virginia | Carolina and David

I was so glad when Carolina and David said that they wanted to do their engagement photos in Shenandoah National Park - it’s my favorite spot to do sessions! We picked a time when David would be in town, because these two have actually been navigating a long distance relationship. They met while Carolina was working in the UK, and David still lives there. I know they’re both excited to be officially reunited soon when David moves to the DC area! They got engaged in Chicago (Carolina’s hometown and where their wedding will take place), so you can tell these two love to travel and take on new adventures together!

We started off with photos on the east side of Skyline Drive and oh my gosh, was it foggy. We could barely see a few feet in front of us, let alone any kind of mountain view! But thankfully, the west side delivered. We really got to see the blue of the Blue Ridge Mountains, and I loved the pop of color from Carolina and David’s outfits.
