Thomas Jefferson Memorial Wedding | Washington, DC | Brooke and Kevin
Brooke and Kevin had a bright, sunny October day for their intimate wedding at the Thomas Jefferson Memorial in DC! There were bright blue skies with just a few wispy clouds, and it wasn’t too crowded around the memorial and Tidal Basin - they couldn’t have asked for a more perfect setting. Their closest friends and family joined them for the beautiful afternoon ceremony and a few photos afterwards.
And we actually discovered that Kevin and I (and one of the guests) went to the same college in upstate New York, graduating just a year apart from each other. Yay for our little Geneseo grad reunion!
Their wedding ceremony was short and sweet, and it took place on the lawn next to the Jefferson, with a view of the Washington Monument in the background!
Getting a fun shot of the whole group is always a necessity with small weddings.
Brooke’s brightly colored bouquet was the perfect pop of color against the white marble of the Jefferson Memorial.
And we ended the afternoon on the steps of the Jefferson, overlooking the Tidal Basin and Washington Monument. So glad Brooke and Kevin had me tag along for their intimate wedding day!
