District Winery Wedding Photos | Washington, DC | Haley and Chris
This was my first wedding at District Winery, and Haley and Chris planned an amazing day! Located in the heart of Navy Yard, District Winery is DC’s first working winery. It’s right on the Anacostia River, providing beautiful views for a wedding ceremony and great locations for pictures.
Haley and her bridesmaids got ready at a nearby hotel, and there was so much laughter in that room! They were having tons of fun before the day even really got started. And it was just two blocks from District Winery, so a very easy walk to get to the venue afterwards.
Chris and Haley had their first look on the boardwalk down by the river, followed by photos with the wedding party. I loved the navy and gray color scheme! And it was March so it was pretty chilly and windy out, but everyone handled the temperatures like champs.
Then we took a short walk along the boardwalk to get to the iconic Yards Park Bridge!
Ceremony time! District Winery has such a cool spot for ceremonies, with beautiful scenic views of the river as the backdrop.
I love that District Winery has this terrace outside of the reception space. Perfect to capture some sunset photos without getting too far from the party, and also just a fun hangout spot for wedding guests.
Bride and groom got a moment by themselves to take in the reception space before all the guests entered!
One of the best dance floors. Haley and Chris and their friends were dedicated dancers and you can tell they loved every single song the DJ played 😂
