Moonstone Manor Wedding | Elizabethtown, PA | Julia and Jordan
So excited to share photos from Julia and Jordan’s amazing wedding day at Moonstone Manor in Elizabethtown, PA!
I first met Julia and Jordan in DC when they were in town visiting for the cherry blossom festival. Jordan booked a sunrise portrait session with me, as far as Julia knew, but secretly he was planning to propose during their session! (See the photos from that day here.) After we had so much fun together exploring DC, they reached out again after booking their wedding venue to see if I’d travel to Pennsylvania. Of course I couldn’t wait to work with them again!
A wedding venue and bed and breakfast, Moonstone Manor has been voted Pennsylvania’s most romantic wedding venue and I can totally see why! It has such a picturesque setting with manicured gardens, the historic manor house, and a creek flowing by through the woods. The perfect scenery for a wedding day!
The day started out with some rain but honestly we couldn’t have asked for better timing - we got the rain out of the way early, and the skies cleared up as the day went on! And Moonstone Manor has an amazing covered porch that is great for pictures while keeping everyone dry.
Jordan and Julia had the cutest first look and vow exchange on the porch, and the wedding party watched them through the windows 😂
How gorgeous are these bouquets?
Moonstone Manor’s garden is so pretty, and I love the backdrop of the manor house itself.
Ya gotta do a big swooping photo when you have a cathedral veil!
They had an amazing ceremony under the pavilion, with flowers lining the aisle and exchanging their vows in front of a stunning floral hoop.
Julia and Jordan welcomed their guests with a short toast on the patio outside of the reception tent, and then they had an epic champagne popping with the bridesmaids and groomsmen to get the party started 😂
They had so many perfect pink details with their reception decor!
There were some incredible toasts from the maid of honor, best man, and Julia’s dad, as well as an appearance from some very patriotic pants 😂
I can’t get over how many beautiful photo locations there are at Moonstone Manor - a photographer’s dream! We snuck away for just a few more portraits during the reception because who could resist this rose arbor walkway?
Then it was time for wedding dress #2! I always think it’s so smart when brides choose to do this - it’s much easier to dance in a short dress!
After dancing the night away with friends and family, Jordan and Julia finished the night with a private last dance, followed by a fun glow stick exit. Keeping my fingers crossed these two plan a vow renewal in the future so we can do this all again sometime soon!!
