Old Town Alexandria Fall Micro-Wedding | Alexandria, VA | Val and Chantel (and Sunshine)

It was a gorgeous fall day for Val and Chantel’s micro wedding Old Town Alexandria. These two live in Alexandria so it was the perfect choice for hosting all of their family and friends (most of which were traveling in from out of state for the wedding). And you know I always love it when there’s a wedding dog involved - their absolutely adorable pup Sunshine was a big part of the day!

To start the day off, Val and Chantel had an amazing Airbnb in Old Town to use for getting ready. Sunshine of course supervised everything 😂

And they had their First Look in the backyard, again supervised by Sunshine 😂 It was such a sweet moment!

Then we made the short walk over to Waterfront Park for the ceremony. It was a gorgeous setting overlooking the Potomac River! The perfect spot for a micro wedding.

Next up were some photos with the wedding party (and Sunshine of course), then we got to explore Old Town for more couples portraits!

Prince Street is always a great photo location with the historic cobblestones and row houses, but it is extra beautiful in the fall with the leaves changing color!

And the Wilkes Street Tunnel is another one of my favorite spots for wedding photos in Alexandria!

Val and Chantel’s wedding reception took place at Chart House, where Chantel works as a chef! So you know they celebrated with some AMAZING food for their guests. It was such an incredible day and I’m so glad I got to be a part of it!
