Shenandoah National Park Surprise Proposal | Luray, VA | Sathiyan and Sarah

Sathiyan and Sarah grew up in the mountains, so Sathiyan always knew that’s where he’d want to propose. And the Blue Ridge Mountains in Shenandoah National Park provide the most amazing backdrop for a surprise proposal! There are so many beautiful vistas just off of Skyline Drive, it’s not hard to find an amazing spot to pop the question.

It was a gorgeous September morning, and Sathiyan picked the date for a reason - it was the day before their 10 year dating anniversary ❤️️ They had planned a little getaway to the mountains to celebrate, so he figured it was the perfect occasion to propose. Sathiyan said that Sarah was going to be expecting the proposal to happen in West Virginia (where they grew up), so he was hoping this would catch her off guard and really surprise her. And you can tell from the look on her face (and the drink still in her hand 😂) that he pulled off the surprise!
