This was my last engagement session of 2016, and it was a great one! Megan and Tim brought their adorable pup Fleury along with them, and we spent the afternoon hiking around Manassas National Battlefield Park. We started off at the Stone Bridge, then drove to a quieter section of the park where we had the whole place to ourselves.

I loved hanging out with Jenn and Alex and their adorable dogs Dante and Kiki for their engagement session at Crockett Park! I just knew we were going to be a good fit from our very first meeting at Starbucks - we spent much of that evening talking about our dogs and looking at pictures of them haha.

I could not have imagined a more perfect engagement session! I love spending time in Shenandoah, and doing so with a happy couple and their adorable pup is even more enjoyable :) Angela and Dan are such a sweet couple, and we had a fun hike planned in the northern end of the park. The trail was beautiful, the overlook was breathtaking, and I loved getting to know these two better!

A little bit of rain can't ruin the best day of your life! The weather may not have been cooperative for Teresa and Andrew's big day, but everything else was absolutely perfect. They got married at Andrew's family's farm surrounded by all of their closest friends and family, and the weather did not dampen anyone's spirits. And these two are actually building their new home together on the property right across from where their wedding was! So fun that they have all these wonderful memories in the same place :)

Kimmie and Nate are so thrilled that they're going to be parents! And I had such a great time capturing this exciting time for them :) We lucked out with a gorgeous, summer-like October day to explore a couple Fauquier County vineyards. Originally we'd planned to meet at a local park, but I'm so glad Kimmie suggested we check out these vineyards instead. I'd never been to either one before, but I will definitely be going back!

Hugh and Joan's wedding day was absolutely beautiful! Their ceremony and reception were at the Daughters of the American Revolution Museum in Washington, DC which is such an incredible place. I'd never been there before, but I can't wait to go back! With so much history, the giant columns, and the views overlooking the Washington Monument - it is the quintessential DC venue.
